We adopted two rescue cats from two different organizations at the same time, Vera 2.5 years old and Ziva 1 year old, both girls. We had read all the books and did intensive research online for introductions. But even then, Vera was very aggressive with Ziva after 5 weeks of slowly introducing them. That’s when we knew we needed a cat behavioural consultant. And boy, did we get the best one!
