While this is not necessarily a calming aid, this SD chip works with the iCalmCat Speaker to help desensitize cats to noises. You can pair sounds with treats/play to create positive associations with noises your cat may be scared of; music is intermixed with household and outdoor sounds.
This is a portable speaker that plays calming music clinically tested and proven to reduce anxiety. There are also additional SD cards (sold separately) that work with this unit that play more stimulating music for enrichment, and various noises to help desensitize cats with noise phobias.
This product is amazing – SO SIMPLE and works great! The strap latch keeps the door from opening too much, which will allow cats in but keep larger dogs and babies out. The stopper keeps the door from closing all the way, keeping finger safe and stopping cats from getting locked in a room. This enables you to give cats access to a room where their litterboxes and food are out of reach from dogs and kids, or as a safe space where they can just peacefully enjoy being alone.
Since many cats are able to jump over the tall baby gate (see Tall Baby Gate product), I recommend stacking this shorter baby gate on top of the tall baby gate. If you turn it upside down, you can line up the walk-through doors so that you can open them at the same time and step through them without having to remove the top (or both gates).
This is a fine-grained sandy cat litter that CHANGES COLOR based on your cat’s urine! It now is also clumping, a big improvement. I recommend this litter for clients who have kitties with a history of urinary infections/issues; the litter can detect changes in pH and blood. Use code AFF10 for 10% off!
This feeder is a must if you need to keep your cats’ meals separate for any reason. Perfect for cats who are getting different-sized portions, medications or supplements in their food, or if you just want to prevent other cats or pets from eating one pet’s meals. Works with the microchip that your cat was tagged with, or comes with a collar tag that will work if your cat isn’t chipped.
This is an inexpensive pair of automatic feeders that comes with ice packs, so it’s suitable for both wet and dry food. You can put a bell on the top that will sound when the lid opens to teach your cat when the meal is available. Great for kitties who need to be fed when you are at work!
While the base of this fountain is plastic, the top is stainless steel. This unit is easy to clean, and the water level on the side makes keeping water fresh SO easy. Further, you can use the fountain with or without the flower on top if you find it too noisy, or if your cats prefer a more open surface from which to drink.
Even though this is built for one cat, I have two large cats that have cuddled up together on this without a problem. And this platform won’t fall off the window – mine has held up without falling for about two years! Consider putting a fleece mat on top of the mesh platform for extra comfort.
This is my cats’ favorite heated bed! They have the large oval design. It is SO soft, although I put a blanket over it for extra snuggles. When plugged in, it slightly warms until a cat gets on it, and then it warms further (but not too hot). Additionally, you can take the heating pad out of the bed to wash it.
